History:
Xiomara Evelina was born on Coruscant, and picked up by the Jedi temple at the tender age of 6 months. She trained with the best of them, displaying strength in the Force and a talent for the lightsaber early on. One thing the Masters noticed about Xiomara was her extreme aggressiveness. Fearing a Dark Side taint in this promising youngling, they did their best to turn Xiomara to a more defensive fighting style. She took to this with mixed emotions, although she did lower her aggressiveness slightly, if not as much as the Masters’ wanted.
Picked by Hildred Shazi at the age of 12 to be a Padawan learner, Xiomara traveled the galaxy with her master, learning more and more about the Force. When she was 15, the two encountered a Sith on a mission. The ensuing battle left the Sith dead by Xiomara’s blade and Xiomara scarred across the stomach by the Sith. Xiomara took her opponent’s lightsaber and wielded both the one she took from the Sith and the one Hildred gave her at once for two years until she constructed her own lightsaber. Shortly after this event, Hildred suggested to the Council that she take the Trials, although it was another year before the Council deemed Xiomara ready.
Once she had taken the Trials, she performed a very different mission set than she had with her master Hildred, mostly missions away from the Sith Empire, although she did come into contact and conflict with many Sith. It was at the hands of one Sith that she learned her only Dark Side power, Shock. While fighting the Sith, she let her temper go, and in a fit of rage unleashed the power of the Dark Side on her opponent, killing him instantly. While she felt some shame and disgrace at having made use of the Dark Side to destroy the same, she was not repentant. Xiomara never mentioned that encounter to the Council, and very rarely uses the Dark Side at all anymore, although if she was pressed hard enough it could very well emerge again.
Role Play Sample:
Xiomara Evelina ran through the lower levels of Coruscant, not wanting to let her quarry escape. She had been pursuing this Sith through the galaxy for months and had laid eyes on it for the first time only a few hours ago. She had been chasing it since. ”The first time I am allowed to seek the Sith, I can’t screw this up” Xiomara thought to herself. Through many twists and turns in the forgotten canyons between the glass towers of Coruscant she pursued the Sith, until she turned what she hoped would be one last corner and came upon what looked to be a market. ”Probably a black market,” she thought, stowing her lightsaber underneath her cloak. She casually strolled into the market, looking around for her mark, occasionally picking up merchandise to keep up the charade. Suddenly all hell broke loose.
What had been a simple discussion by the edge of the bazaar had turned into a heated argument, and the Sith had drawn it’s lightsaber, gutting the one he was arguing with. Like a dog seeing it’s target, Xiomara was on the Sith, now revealed as a male Kaleesh. The crowd drew away into something of an arena as the pair faced each other, lightsabers drawn and activated. As could be expected, the Kaleesh made the first move, charging at Xiomara. Blocking the Kaleesh’ savage blow, the human female countered with her second blade, forcing the Sith to withdraw as he could not defend from two blades with his one.
Trying a different tactic, the Kaleesh approached quickly but not at a charge and begin a series of rapid strikes, keeping Xiomara on the defensive. As Xiomara noticed a pattern and responded, the Sith would change his pattern; thus the two staying in a dance of whirling blades, scarring the ground and keeping the spectators, who had by now started to place wagers, at a good distance. The dance of death continued for a long time, until Xiomara noticed that the Sith only used three different patterns of attack. Once she observed that tendency, she begin attacking rather than defending and soon had the Sith backed up against a wall. In seconds, the fight was over the Sith was dead. She gave orders for her ship to meet her, and paid someone to clean up the body. Claiming the defeated warrior’s lightsaber for the Temple, she stalked off, stowing her lightsaber and looking forward to the next battle.
